The relay makes in about 2 ms. However, the actuating voltage is delayed 3 ms from keydown! My 940 starts making RF at about 5.5 ms after keydown leaving virtually no time for the amp relay(s) to switch. I also developed a FET switch but drive it from a waveform that goes positive at keydown. It works very well with my QSK modified Drake L-7. 73, Roger |
