Hello Jerry,
I have been using a FL7000 for the last 10 years daily, most at 200- 250w
level but no problem at 500w, never failed. It has been in use with a
Ft1000, Ft1000Mp, Ic746 and now also with an IC756P2 in manual mode also no
problems at all.
My FT7000 has been my best inversion on AR gear.
It has very good protections if you have bad SWR or overdrive.
The automatic ATU is very slow and old fashion but its works
