A friend has asked if I can make a 12V to 1300V 300W inverter to replace the 
dynamotor powering one of his old army sets. I hate winding transformers, so 
can anyone point me towards a ready made transformer supplier? UK sourcing 
would be ideal, but I'll shop abroad if needs be.
