I didn't write that--Rich did. But either one will work--a rotary
style high-wattage potentiometer--or a high-wattage power
resistor with an adjustable tap. Depends on whether you just
want to set it once and forget it--or if you want to diddle with
it as your line voltage varies. I have better things to do in
a contest than tweak the filament voltage in real time! ;-)
