Most replies have offered solutions to your problem that involve greases.
My suggestion is that you polish the mating surfaces with a cloth wheel to
nice slippery shine... and therefore make the conductivity issue/ heating
(dripping grease)/ dust gathering medium/ etc........ a non-issue.
