I have a rather large plate choke from a 1KW broadcast transmitter. It's 1800uH. Any reason this cannot be used in a 160M thru 10M amp assuming no relevant self-resonant freqs? I'm a few weeks away from mocking up the RF deck, had planned to use a choke from RF Parts, but this followed me home.
