That's what I figured - and what I have tried, today. It seems to be the "working" way.


The AL-80A is a single 3-500Z, isn't it?

Correct. About 1000 Watts out SSB PEP, 850 Watts output on CW.


It is supposed to have been modified for 10 meters. Seems to work.

I now am trying to determine how to tune the WARC bands, and MARS frequencies, which are outside of the "band switch" ranges.
