If you have lots of drive you can connect the control grid to the cathode and ground screen grid.
But the cathode would have to swing 200 to 350 volts negative to get reasonable output power.
This peak situation should produce the same peak plate current as class AB1 and 200 to 350 volts bias on
the screen grid. The power gain would work out to be around 3 or 4 at best.

supplied to it.  Look in any of the Bill Orr handbooks and you will see a
design for an amplifier using a pair of 4CX250B's in GG.
