[Amps] Contest Amp; AL1200 or AL1500

I am in the process of adding another rig and amp to my station.
Primary use of the amp would be under contest conditions.
I have narrowed the options down to the AL1200 and the AL1500.
Have read all the info on both amps but wanted the opinion(s) of the wise.
Which one is REALLY the better amp for my purpose?
