The best info I've seen is the "Motorola RF Device Data" books back in the 80's
or so. The only other was a small paperback book published by Sams named
"Practical RF Communications Data", by Doug DeMaw which shows designing
everything from scratch. It also has a good bit on building wattmeters in the
last pages.
