Hi, just to clarify the fan is not in the RF field, it pressurises the lower chassis of the amplifier and air then enters vents of grid compartment, then through base of valve to vaguely stir up the air in anode compartment. The commutating transistor in the fan is likely to be vulnerable to massive RF fields, however mine should be safe...
