I loaded up a few FB plate transformers Saturday from a SK's
basement, and hauled them to my pile. All were UTC, 2500 to 3500 VDC
units with 1/2 amp or less DC rating. However, one spectacular unit
is a Hermetic sealed H117. It is dual primary rated, MIL type
TF4RX02YY, with 5000 and 6000 VAC center tapped secondary, will
supply approx 2125VDC @ 1.1 Amps or 2550 @ 1 ICAS. It is 11 x 11 x 15
inches cube, and weighs 160 lbs. The voltage is a bit low for big
glass tubes, but it would supply a lot of power for a pair of ceramic
tubes with higher current or a 2.5 kW broadcast transmitter. If
anyone is interested, contact me. It would be very costly to ship,
not to mention difficult to load with a pallet.
