Actually Ocean State does not have a sleeve adapter for 3/8 to 1/4
but their K28-600
on page 101 shows a 1/4 to 1/8 adapter and you can MAKE one for 3/8 to 1/4 by
finding some 3/8 brass rod and drilling a 1/4 inch hole in it -- plus
clearance holes
for the set screws. Easier on a lathe, but with care a drill press
will do it. This
type of sleeve fits inside the knob and is what you need if the
mounting for the
switch is on the front panel and there is no room for a shaft
extension type adapter
where the switch needs to be recessed. Otherwise you can just use a
longer length
of 3/8 rod and drill a hole in one end for the 1/4 inch shaft and
drill/tap some set screws.
