The E_H antenna is only a dummy load and needs no insulated wire at all, can't work as an antenna whatever you use in it...

No, seriously, the E_H antenna is using PVC insulated house wire in its
matching networks at the kilowatt level without any trouble. No reason why
it wouldn't work in tank circuit applications.
