I owned an AL-1200 back in the '90s. Ok for CW and SSB, but not for RTTY.
At one time I had an email chat with the designer asking him why the
tank coil melted running full output RTTY on 160 meters. He answer
was "Who runs RTTY on 160?". That answered my question.
