I do concur they did build some good stuff, although they (read D. Sarnoff)
were slow to embrace FM.
I was referring to (and should have made clear) those two comments had to do
with their two-way fm gear. It was oft said that RCA mobile radios were the
primary generators of the bench technicians and installers relief,
retirement and compensation fund.
