All,
I need to buy one of those small used cheap 6 digit frequency counters like
some are using with mobile radios and CB's. I need one that is repairable which
does have the part numbers on the IC's. Some manufacturers have been guilty of
removing them on these. I'm needing it to replace one that is inside another
piece of equipment I have. In other words, I'm going to take the board and
display out of the counters enclosure and mount it in this one. The old one ran
from a 5 volt regulator already there. It couldn't be repaired over the ICs
numbers missing. I could actually get by with a 5 digit but would prefer to
match the old one with a 6 digit. I would be interested in any used working or
non-working units as long as I can repair it. The size of the space it has to
fit in is about 4" W x 4" D x 2"H. The original board is smaller than this
deminsion but that's the room I have to use behind the chassis. This one has 6
LED digits, not LCD about 1/2" H total. If any has one to se
