I used one with my K2 before I built the  KPA100 and it worked great. Yes, it 
has output
filtering .   I got ~ 120 w out depending on band, on CW.

I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another, and I'm going to be keeping mine. Nice 
auto
bandswitching functionality and good reports.  Used it for ~18 months with no 
problems.
