Regarding high temp silicone rubber .. Something to consider when using any
automotive or aircraft materials for electronic use -- some silicone rubber
ducts or flat stock for use in high temp, high altitude applications have a
slight carbon base .. also some of the silcone rubber materials have an
embedded stainless steel particles for added strength .. be sure of the carbon
or metal content before applying EMF ...

Same situation with automotive or aircraft silicone sealants -- some have a
carbon content or metal particle content for specific applications -- and as
mentioned 100000 times acetic acid vapours --

While the some of the compounds or silcone rubber may work fine at 160 meters
they may not work worth a toot and blow at higher frequencies --

As a precaution I would check for online material data sheets first as to the
di-electric constant before using something not specifically manufactured for
electronic (RF) use ..

Cheers de SLM//
