The 822 is a 200 watt general purpose triode that has a mu of 30 with full
ratings to 20 Mhz. An identical tube, the Taylor 814, has a mu of 12. A
later version, the 822S, has a side grid terminal and can operate to 30 Mhz.

I have the above and I'm wondering what the 822 tube is. I can't find
a reference for it.
The Johnson socket has four pins and they are marked F, F, G and P.
I'm just cleaning out my junk box and ran across these two tubes (822s).
Does anyone know what an 822 is? Taylor Tubes made it.
