For sale are sockets for the 4CX250 family of tubes {4X150, 4CX250, 8930,
4CX400}.
The sockets are Eimac SK-620A or the Johnson equivalent {#124-115}, these
are the desirable ones with the raised screen ring/bypass capacitor such as for
K2RIW type amps.
The sockets are nice, clean and have had the screen bypass capacitor
assembly checked OK using a capacitor tester at 450 VDC.
Included with the socket will be a mounting ring with hardware and a
fiberglass-appearing chimney assembly.The chimney has a nice anode collet
assembly built onto the top of it, and the chimney mounts to the socket holdown
ring mounting screws.
These are from mid-1960's era Collins built airborne linear amplifiers.
Price for two socket assemblies is 40.00 plus shipping, have
approx. 10 sets available.
