If you have a harmonics suppression problem, the Pi-L network will not
be a great help for you. If you have to reduce unwanted signals below
the operating frequency, the Pi-L network will not help at all. But, a
properly designed Pi-L network will give a fantastic matching range to
your amp. The design procedure is not simple. Forget the often
mentionned method using a more or less arbitrary impedance chosen as an
intermediate one between a Pi and a L section, which will then be
assembled together.
