"Full Duty Cycle" is clearly an audiophoolery term.
"Your $11,000.00, dual 6550 (KT-88 optional) tube amplifier,
equipped with oxygen-pure, silver-impregnated multi-strand
speaker cable, is rated for full duty cycle at above-average listening
levels."

Subject: Re: [Amps] What does full duty cycle mean?
Depends who is parsing the words, Madison Avenue or Bill Clinton,
Clinton is/was the master! :-\
Anyhow, I take "Full Duty Cycle" to be a poor choice of words to
describe a typical semi-continuous transmit mode such as AM, CW, or
data.
However, since manufacturers like to toy with words to create the
appearance of extra value it would be best to request a written
statement of the meaning in real- world use from the manufacturer or
salesman.
