Fern, a search of Amps archives gives 115 references for tuned filter choke.
I recall that you do not want it to be at precise resonamce but off on the
slope or large HV across choke. You may need to have DC thru the choke as
you do the tuning. 73, Dan, N5AR

If you are having trouble detecting resonance, You need a constant (or near
constant)
 current signal source. Connect a resistor in series with your 200CD of
several k ohms
and a blocking cap if you are putting DC thru the choke. Your scope across
the choke
should show a peak at resonance.
