Looks almost identical to the FTL3-1 RF heater-generator tube by BBC.
The 80m monoband amp I built in the 70s with it had very poor 3rd order IMD,
about -18db!
Still good for CW and FSK, but not for SSB in the DX window

Looking at the picture on DF6NA's page, it looks quite like the STC 3J/160E
I have - the anode looks identical. My tube came from a vibrator rig - as in
shaking things to bits :-) . The most common use for pulls was upside down
as a lamp base!
