The AC may be leakage from a ground loop, miswired power cord or wall 
outlet, AC line bypass cap, etc.

When the amp is keyed the tubes are conducting in idle state, 90-100 ma is 
normal for 572B's. It doesnt require the input coax to be hooked up.
