[Amps] ten tec centurion amp

when tuning my centurion amp,my plate amperes reads 950 at 100 watts drive from 
my radio. the manual reads not to go over 800. my swr is 1.2 my grid current 
only reads 240 max - the book says not to exceed 260.is this normal for tune up 
or do i need to check for a problem?any suggestions might help. thanks
