Thanks to Gary and all in another HVPS thread, I found it in Power Supplies section in the ARRL Handbook 2007: "With modern diodes, this practice is no longer necessary" I am now using two EDHD 15K diode legs in a power supply section placed at the bottom of my rack but other desk-top types are still using R+C in parallel with each rect diodes.
