Are you sure it has a T/R relay inside of it? Perhaps it's a repeater amplifier
with no T/R switching. If it does indeed have a relay, the relay must be
defective. Does the receiver work when the amplifier is in line and not
transmitting?

  Hi guys

I have a TE SYSTEMS 1412G that has a problem where with the amp in circuit
and turned off ie by passed there is a high SWR and almost no power
  out the other side.

When the amp is turned on in operate mode it works fine low RF input
  good swr
  and high RF output.

I opened it up is find what looks like a sealed relay thinking bad or dirty
  relay contacts.

Has anyone had this issue ? I have looked on the web for TE SYSTEMS
with no luck. As I need a manual as well and circuit diagram.

  Any advice is welcome.

  Regards
  Ian de ZL2IAS
