Dear all,

I repaired 9 FL2100B/F/Z amplifiers in total . As
Cetrons are hard to get and most of all extremely expensive AND 30
years old (gassy), I took the China brand 572B tubes as replacement.
Out of 27 pairs 9 were with issues. Issues are parasitic and internal
short. All tubes were replaced with working new tubes, so no complains
about that. The different glass shapes drove me nuts, the 572b tubes as
sold currently are too large for the FL-2100B amplifiers for example. I
always ask for the shortest 572B tubes.

Quality control in factory needs improvement. If plate dissipation can be
enlarged, that would be brilliant.
