Amen to that!
Consider an 80M dipole, high in the air, fed with ladder line. The SWR might
be
VERY high, but It will work very well on most any band!
Now consider a dummy load. Its SWR will be very close to the holy grail figure
of
1.0 but it won't work very well for transmitting or receiving the signals we
want.
