Hi Phil,thanks for the suggestion re the rfparts choke..Your`e right abt the 
interaction with the tank ckt...I can tell that when testing with my 
259b...Do you think the rfparts choke is robust enough for use with a 
YC-156?I recall it`s rated for a max of 4kv/1.5 amps...My supply is 
6400vdc... I have one in use here 3600vdc in my 8877 deck and it works 
great....Thanks agn for the comments..73,Jim..
