No, Im not going to drag a plate xfmr home! Ive been replacing some wire antennas and want to also replace all the 20 year old ropes and keep coming up empty for a UV resistant black rope. I need at least 500' probably 3/16 or 1/4" Sorry for the OT but figure this is the best place to check.
