For easy plug-and-play, the Heath SB-230 with one 8873 [conduction  
cooled] is a no-brainer, however the tube is no longer manufactured.   
It's good for just under 1kw SSB and 600w CW.

Ahem ... I have an SB-230 in quite mint condition with a SPARE 8873  
that I might be willing to sell.... [cough]
