One thing I found out the hard way - do not place the choke too close to the
tube's anode. I had one of the RF Parts units installed about one inch away from
the anode and the side of the winding facing the tube got scorched, presumably
from simple capacitive coupling between the 8877 anode and the windings. I moved
it away slightly and installed a shield between the anode and choke. Problem
solved.
