Kees, sice remarking, rebranding, and other less than ethical methods have been
used almost since the beginning of the vacuum tube era Im naturally suspicious
by nature.

And from what I know of the Svetlana operation, many phone conversations with
George Badger when I sold Svetlana tubes, and other sources in Russia, Ukraine,
and Bulgaria, Ive no doubt that the 4CX800A followed those above methods. And
continues to do so with the full knowledge of the very few companies still
using them.

  Hi Carl,

  In that case I cannot help you I guess. I do not have connections directly to
the plant, only to a tube seller.

  If the data printed on new carton boxes and the year / month on new tubes and
on accompanied certificates are not good enough for you to judge that these
tubes are still produced, a well... That is your call :-)
