Has anyone got any info on this power supply.
I have been given this and a 500w wide band hf amp.
This was part of a QRO commercial hf TX.My neighbor, made the unit as
part of the development of the TX ,and each amp had an Advance A1500
supplying it.
my problem is It is assumed to work,but with volts applied no work.,on
the front pannel are two multi-way connectors that went to a
controller,so we think that these are the keys to provoke this psu to work.
The psu is in good condition with no obvious signs of distress.
If it cant be made to work I will remove the capacitors diodes and
anything else useful and make a "conventional" psu..
Advance themselves were swallowed up years ago,they were based in
Bishops Stalford,Herts UK.
