  Install the bigger fan/ blower (after a point I call 'em blower). You 
can always back the
speed down and noise with a series resistor. Then install a thermostat 
in a strategic
place that will short the resistor at a given temperature.
Voila! Best of both worlds.
I have that in my LK-500, with several resistor/ 'stat settings. 130 F 
medium,  165F high,
and slow when all resistors are on line, dropping blower voltage to 90 
volts (from 240).
