Yes, Virginia, there really is a "Second Class Operators Club" which also has a
reflector. A person on AMPS, here, apparently got his shorts in a snit,
thinking humor had totally departed this world. The "SOC" is a satire on the
FOC, and the SOC mostly exchanges funny stories and jokes on their reflector.
The 20,000 attendee Ham Fair last weekend in Tokyo had only three amplifiers
for sale.... Two used Henry table top models and one FL-2100 B (wanted $500.
for the latter one). But many many nice used transceivers and absolutely no
computer stuff for sale.
