AMPS-listers:

I needed a quicky chassis to prototype a new PA and recently purchased this on
EBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rt=nc&nma=true&item=120691460254&si=Zi9jCTjwufxwdIxjeQ30O0sC%252BAM%253D&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT

What I received is a date-code 1991 ETO PA+IPA chassis, originally using a
3CPX800A (under chassis mount) driving a YC-156 (the custom spec 3CPX5000A7
socket-less tube). I assume this was either a prototype (or short production
run) MRI 1.5T or 3.0T amplifier. Looking at the PA compartments matching
components, it's obviously a mid-VHF network, probably somewhere right above
6M. I'm not recently schooled in MRI engineering, but I believe there were
(are

?) units that operated around 60 MHz. Since my proto is for 50 MHz, I'd like
to

try and use as much of the existing system as I can.

Referring to the EBay pictures, can anybody ID the original operating freq of
this chassis ? Does anybody (John, W0UN ?) have any design info on it ? It
has

several ETO P/N's, including several in the series of MSX-X9**. The date code
is May 1991.

Whatever it turns out to be, it looks like it'll cut a lot of time off my
design

since I won't have to cut much metal and it has a real nice blower + nice
usable

"stuff" included.

TIA
