Be sure that Screen supply is rock solid.. if it jumps around with poor regulation you'll splatter unnecessarily. You may also now need to build an input pad to swamp the input drive from the exciter if it isn't adjustable. I went from GG to AB2 and never went back... great way to operate the 4-1000A. 73, Dave Wa3gin Yes! If you cant get well over1500W with that supply either the tube is weak, the input network design is poor or simply not used, or both.
