It is something that messes up dial up modems. (so you don't get 56 kB/s) ______________________________________________________________________________________________ Constant delay at all frequencis is also referred to as " linear phase response". That is if all frequencies have the same delay then the phase shift is linear. 1kHz phase output relative to input could be -30 degrees but 2kHz would be -60 degrees and so on. but only if the delay is uniform across all frequencies. 73 Bill wa4lav _______________________________________________ Amps mailing list Amps@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/amps |
