takes a microphone input  ,,, creates a ssb signal ...  then clips it ,
passband tuning allow a sort of " eq" ,,,  then demodulates it to 
audio ,and then you plug it into your mic input of your rig,,,,

mfj, diawa, datong, all sold versions of the same thing,,,
a non intrusive way to do "if" "RF" clipping....
and it works,,, Idiom Press has shown one at dayton also....
