They may still be made in Europe, I bought some NOS Swedish military Philips with 1999 date codes last year.

Since the 813 came out in 1939 Id go for the newest date codes I could find and hope for the best. Im sure a person could test them in an apartment/condo without an antenna just to test and getter.

And where will you get replacement ones better than the ones you had?
All the 813s are going to be old and sitting around.

Tubes do not get better sitting around, especially glass ones.

If the tubes are good now, sell them and buy replacements when the
time comes.
