Find a computer surplus and grab a Blade power supply out of a surplus
server.

Around here they can be had for $25-$50 each. These usually have 50V @
50Amps output, with 220-240VAC inputs.

Good day all,

I am looking for ideas on transformers to use in the power supply of a solid
state VHF amp. I'll require 50VDC at 33 amps. Golf cart transformers have
become expensive. Any ideas on the cheapest way out?

Regards,
Paul
