Paul,

If you're building an SSPA for 6m or 2m then also consider the F1JRD
designs using the MRFE6VP61K25H - its rated at lightly more power than
the MRF6VP11KH and is more robust.

Hans, PE1CKK's, 2KW amplifier using the Dutch RF Shop kits lasted about
20 minutes in the IARU Region 1 144MHz Contest last September and went
bang...  meanwhile, on this side of the North Sea (and facing him), our
2KW SSPA only finished build and test the night before was hurriedly
thrown together on a gerden table in the tent and performed flawlessly
for the whole event:
