The BEKO HLV-2000 amps are specified on 2m with 1850W at 1db compression
with a pair of them.
THE HLV-1000 is specified at 1020W.
So indeed one device is not enough for a wide band HF amplifier followed by
LP filters and putting out 1KW SSB.
I have good experience with the BEKO amps, I run a couple of contests with
them (HLV-2000) and they are very clean and reliable.
A good friend of mine owns 4 of them and so far no problem.
