Those tests do not take into account all reasons for silver plating.
Yesterday, I addressed just one issue where plating has affected coil Q on
one type of roller inductor. It had nothing to do with skin effect of the
silver plating. Rather, maximum conduction is necessary to maintain good
coil Q on that type of inductor, especially on the low bands.
