Hi Steve,

I converted an SB-220 to 6 meters for my friend Mike, UN8GC, and wrote up
the results in a QST article in April 2008. The input circuit I used was a
T-match. Each inductor consisted of 10 turns of #22 gauge enameled wire,
tuned with a 50 pf capacitor (which was mounted where the bandswitch used
to be. )
Have fun!

I am converting a previously-modified SB-220 to a 6 meter-only amp.

The original input pi-network is long gone. Most of the articles on
conversion say stuff like "remove N turns from the original 10 meter
input coil". Can anyone tell me component values for the 2 capacitors
and the inductor for a 6 meter input network ?

Thanks and 73,
Steve, N2IC
