No, do not use woven / braided conductor for this purpose; it is lossy at
the upper HF bands and will run noticeably hot in QRO amps.

The best interconnection is made with thin flexible copper strap, even
better if its Ag plated to several skin-depths.

Is there any reason the braid from RG 58 would not work as well as #14 solid
tinned wire for connection between the pi net coil and bandswitch at 1kw
level and frequencies 160 thru 10m
I realize strap is best but curious if anyone has used the braid and their
results.
